Mar Menor
The Mar Menor is the largest salt water lake in Europe. It is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the La Manga Strip which has more than 40km of beaches. On the western shore lies the town of Los Alcazares.The warm waters of the Mar Menor attracts sunbathers and watersports enthusiasts and the minerals in the water of the Mar Menor is said to have health giving properties.
