The La Torre Golf resort is a Polaris World development built around a Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course near Balsicas in the region of Murcia.The apartment is on the first floor and has a large terrace which overlooks a grassed court yard with children's play area and two communal swimming pools. It offers a quiet relaxing holiday for all the family with the option of playing a round or two of golf on all the Polaris World courses.
There are presently 4 courses open - La Torre, Elle Valle, Hacienda Requelme and Mar Menor which is a nine hole course. When the Nicklaus Golf trail is complete there will be seven resorts and nine courses for you to choose from. A shuttle bus is provided to ferry you around between the resorts. Murcia City is a fifteen minute drive and the beaches of the Mar Menor 20 minutes away.
At the heart of La Torre is a waterside village with bars, restaurants, leisure facilities, shops and travel agent. A 5* Intercontinental Hotel opened in 2009. The resort also has a well stocked supermarket. A bilingual school has been built just outside the complex. The development is in a gated community and benefits from 24 hour security.
