The La Torre Golf resort is a Polaris World development built around a Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course near Balsicas in the region of Murcia.The apartment is on the first floor and has a large terrace which overlooks a grassed court yard with children's play area and two communal swimming pools. It offers a quiet relaxing holiday for all the family with the option of playing a round or two of golf on all the Polaris World courses.
There are presently 3 courses open - La Torre, Elle Valle and Mar Menor which is a nine hole course with Hacienda Requelme due to open in 2008. When the Nicklaus Golf trail is complete there will be seven resorts and nine courses for you to choose from. A shuttle bus is provided to ferry you around between the resorts. Murcia City is a fifteen minute drive and the beaches of the Mar Menor 20 minutes away.
At the heart of La Torre is a waterside village with bars, restaurants, leisure facilities, shops and travel agent. A 5* Intercontinental Hotel is due to open in 2008. The resort also has a well stocked supermarket. A bilingual school and hospital are under construction. The development is in a gated community and benefits from 24 hour security.
